Social Media poem by 2001 BABY
What happens when I turn it off
What happens when I log out
Like a hard golden coin toff
Sugar-coated pain that I ingest
Social media dims our light
And presses on our chest
When we wake, we reach for our phone
The tar-covered lung
That we can’t leave alone
Don’t solve this mystery too late
be the meddling kids
decide your own fate
