Top 5 Makeup tips

Everyone's face is different, Therefore the best way to figure out what works for you is through experimenting and experience. However, there are 5 key tips that I would give to anyone starting out or wanting to improve their makeup skills.

Tip 1- BLEND!

Whether you are applying foundation, eyeshadow, contour, bronzer, blusher, etc it is VITAL to blend all products thoroughly. Spending more time blending will instantly improve your makeup. Using your preferred tool (brush, sponge, etc) spend time making sure to blend all products into the skin. You can also use this technique as a rubber. For example, if you happen to apply too much bronzer, you can blend using a clean brush until the product looks less intense.

Tip 2- Finger Tool

When applying cream products to your face, your finger is your best tool. Use your finger to blend products such as liquid highlight, cream blush, etc. The warmth from your finger will allow the products to melt into the skin, creating a seamless makeup look.

Tip 3- Brows

If you have full brows in a good shape my advice is simple, don't fill them in. Use a clear brow gel or simply brush them through. In my opinion, this looks better and more natural. However, if you have sparse brows containing gaps. My advice would be, don't draw any defined/harsh lines and make sure to blend your brown product into your brow using a spooley.

Tip 4- Foundation Match

Pick a foundation shade that matches your natural skin tone. Although this may sound obvious, many people may not know the correct shade to get. Some of us have yellow undertones some peach etc. It is important to choose the right shade and never wear a foundation that is too dark or light for your skin.

Tip 5- Don't neglect the neck

Always make sure to take your foundation and blend it down your neck. This avoids any foundation lines and improves your makeup.
